Although the intense heat between the two parties, we as a mindful and smart citizen must prioritize the Luber Jurdil principle. Luber Jurdil means,
- Direct (Langsung)
In this case, it directly means that the voter chooses directly without being represented to anyone at the time the election is held.
- General (Umum)
General means that voters who have met the age requirements (those aged 17 years and over) can exercise their voting rights without exception, namely active rights and passive rights.
- Unbound (Bebas)
Unbound means the voter has the freedom to use his voting rights according to his conscience without any coercion from any party.
- Secret (Rahasia)
Voters when choosing and using their voting rights are certainly not known by others of who they have chosen.
- Honest (Jujur)
During the election, voters and election committees and all parties involved in the election must be honest in accordance with the applicable regulations, and no fraud is committed.
- Fair (Adil)
All voters and parties involved receive equal treatment without discriminating between ethnic groups, religions, races, groups or social levels.
